And so I’ve read that some people think that Saoirse Ronan is TOO PRETTY to play as Tris…
Well.. What I can say is..
For me, Tris is someone who is actually pretty but doesn’t know it or doesn’t project it. She is someone who may look very ordinary and simple to begin with.. and the more you get to know her, the more that she gets beautiful.
Saoirse Ronan fits the role. She is actually very pretty if you really study her face.. but the good thing about her face, is that, Saoirse does not have any distinct feature in her except maybe her eye color. It’s like all her face features are proportional. Look at her in Hanna, they made her look really simple and not very pretty.. I think they can do that in Divergent, too.
I don’t want any lead role who’s not pretty.
Tris is pretty, she just doesn’t know it.
